Violet Guidera joined TRLMI in February 2019, supporting Student Services with reception, course enrollments for classroom and online students, answering U.S. Coast Guard licensing questions, and particularly regarding Captain’s Licenses and our OUPV/Master 100 Ton course. She is friendly and welcoming and loves a good laugh. Ironically, she gets sea sick easily!
Violet moved to San Diego from Amherst, Massachusetts, where she was previously an Admissions Advisor at Spanish Studies Abroad. The study abroad company is a family-run business that she joined after graduating from Wheaton College Massachusetts in 2016, with a B.A. in Psychology and Hispanic Studies. She studied abroad for one year during college, spending a semester in Seville, Spain, and one in Cairns, Australia. She is the middle of three sisters and grew up in Amherst, MA. Violet has spent much of her life traveling recreationally, frequently to Spain to visit family and friends who live there. She enjoys spending time outdoors, road trips, photography, live music, and dance.
