Class Requirements:

TRMI’S Radar Refresher course was specifically designed for those mariners that do not work with Radar on a daily basis. This allows the student the time to have a refresh of the original Radar Unlimited course for renewal purposes.

Mariners who hold the Radar Observer (Unlimited) endorsement, and have 360 days of sea time and regularly operate Radar Equipment, will no longer be required to complete a Coast Guard-approved radar refresher course or recertification exam in order to renew their endorsement, if you provide proper documentation with your Sea Service letter(s).
