Outboard Motor Operations & Maintenance (OMOM) – San Diego, CA

This course is designed to benefit recreational and professional mariners who operate vessels with two-stroke and four-stroke outboard motors.

The course covers outboard motors in general and is not brand specific. Students will learn the unique characteristics of and differences between two-stroke and four-stroke motors.

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to understand, troubleshoot and perform basic preventative maintenance and repairs to their motors.

The course format is a combination of lecture and hands-on instruction. Students will disassemble and reassemble real motors that offer visual access to the inner workings and allow the students to make the transition from a theoretical to a practical understanding of outboard motor operation and maintenance.

We accept the GI Bill at our Norfolk, VA campus.More Information
