License Upgrade: Master 100 Ton to Master 200 Ton (M200ONL) Online

The Upgrade Master 100 Tons to Master 200 Tons Course will satisfy the examination requirements for upgrade of your MMC from Master up to 100 gross tons Upon Near Coastal, Great Lakes, or Inland Waters TO Master or Mate of less than 200 gross tons Upon Near Coastal, Great Lakes, or Inland Waters.

When you are finished with the online course you will take your proctored USCG Approved final exam IN-PERSON at one of our approved locations. Our final exam testing locations are currently only in: Alameda and San Diego, California; Honolulu, Hawaii.

To receive the upgrade from Master 100 Tons to Master/Mate 200 Tons you must meet the USCG requirements. The requirements checklist can be found on the USCG National Maritime Center website. PLEASE NOTE: This course does NOT satisfy examination requirements to upgrade from Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessels (OUPV) to Master/Mate 200 Tons. As with all our online courses, this is done at your own pace. You have up to 4 weeks to complete the course. When you are finished with the online course you will take your proctored USCG Approved final exam at one of our approved locations. Our final exam testing locations are currently only in: Alameda and San Diego, California;  Honolulu, Hawaii. Upon successful completion of the final exams you will receive a course Certificate of Training that is valid for 1 year to be submitted to the USCG.

You have up to 4 weeks to complete the online course starting on the date that TRLMI sends you your course log-in email. THERE ARE NO EXTENSIONS past this 4-week time frame. Upon completion of the online course, you MUST complete your final examination in person at one of our approved testing facilities. Our online course final exam testing locations are currently only in: Alameda and San Diego, California; Norfolk, VA; Honolulu, Hawaii. We test by appointment only.

Upon successful completion of this online course and proctored examination you will receive a Course Completion Certificate that is valid for 1 year to submit to the USCG.

Once enrolled, you will receive access to the Online Portal within 2-3 business days via email.
