TRLMI’s Basic Training Revalidation course satisfies applicable requirements for continued competency in Basic Training required every five years for mariners sailing under the STCW requirements.

This 1-day Basic Training Revalidation course meets the minimum standard of competence for Basic Training PROVIDED that the individual has at least 360 DAYS of QUALIFYING SEA SERVICE in the last 5 years on vessels that are REQUIRED to hold regular fire, emergency, and abandon ship drills, and has been previously certified per Section A-VI/1 of the STCW Code.

This course is for U.S. Merchant Mariner Credential holders. Important: Basic Training Revalidation course in Honolulu, HI, requires that you participate in practical assessments that are held at two different sites on Oahu. STUDENTS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THEIR OWN TRANSPORATION TO/FROM EACH SITE on the day of class.

You will be getting into the swimming pool and must bring a change of clothes, towel, and a light jacket.
